For the first time in Greece, at the 7th Renewable & Storage Forum organized by energypress.gr, the spotlight turned to the actual operation of battery energy storage systems (BESS), not merely the need for installation of storage. In the joint presentation by Optimus Energy and enspired, showcased all aspects that determine the proper and efficient operation of battery systems in unprecedented detail, from real-time management to their commercial integration into energy markets, supported by practical examples and proven results from mature international markets.
A new era of energy storage in Greece begins with knowledge, technology, and a strategic collaboration. At a time when Greece is entering the era of large storage projects, the focus is shifting from installation to operation and optimal utilization, for both the asset and the grid. Optimus Energy, with a portfolio exceeding 4.5 GW of reneables and flexible load and managing more than 7 TWh in 2025, is taking on the commercial optimization of storage assets across all markets.
